I have my dental office in Harrisonburg, where I perform cosmetic dentistry. In addition, we do the same thing in New Market .

It is common knowledge that there are two paths you can go. The first one is called restorative dentistry. This is for when we bring your teeth back to how they were before you started to suffer in order that your teeth feel normal, look normal and work like normal.

It is not the same for New Market cosmetic dentistry . That is when we try to improve your smile.

I would say that restorative courses of action takes place when your teeth have medical issues and cosmetic dentistry is about making you look beautiful.New Market dentist PRN-014135.jpg

But like all such categorizations, this one is less than accurate. Cosmetic dentistry can make you look good but it also has many restorative elements. For instance, suppose we make your teeth white, which is essentially classed as cosmetic dentistry. That's not all, though. We also use the new Invisalign system to straighten your teeth, which makes it look practically real. The end result is straighter teeth, making you look good and improves your health.

Our veneers are very thin so we can make sure that only the minimum amount of natural teeth is lost. If you like, we are able to alter things like the color, shape and length of your own teeth for an amazing improvement even though nothing much has been done to your original teeth.

Right, if you could have a look at this photo of Peter Frampton. It could be that you have no idea who he is, but Frampton released an album that helped him reach superstardom. The fact that 16 million people bought this album testifies to his popularity.

That was more than 30 years ago, in 1976, when you couldn't go anywhere and not be subjected to Frampton and tunes from his Frampton Comes Alive album.

You may be wondering where all this Peter Frampton business is leading to. Well, I really think this guy has a good set of teeth and despite the fact that I've never been close up or had him in my office, it is possible that he has had veneers done or what he is showing off may be his real teeth.

You all know that I have never done Harrisonburg dental veneers on Mr. Frampton's teeth but it doesn't mean we can't. The first thing would be to get rid of gaps if, indeed, he had any. If you imagine yourself in his place, the color of your front teeth would be changed to make it all the same, so that the front teeth are even.

You should know that you don't have to be a famous rock star to have a radiant smile from our Harrisonburg dental veneers.

It takes about two visits only to have your veneers. The first time you come, your teeth will be prepared for the second visit. When you make the second trip we put in the veneers.
